Q: How do I get a login? (And do I need one?)
A. The short answer: it depends!
First, please check out the Q&A post: QRIS, PDIS, SUGAR, SALESFORCE, ECCONNECT: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?
Colorado Shines QRIS
Licensed child care programs log in to Colorado Shines QRIS based on their license number.
You should have a Salesforce login if you’re a QI Navigator with an early childhood council – specifically, if you are reaching out to providers in your area to introduce them to QRIS, encourage participation, and support them in adopting the new system. QI Navigators primarily use their access to Salesforce to provide technical support to providers in using the Colorado Shines website.
To get a Salesforce login, request it through ECCLA using the online Council User Setup form.
Beginning July 1, all council staff will be able to use SugarCRM to view, update, manage and track information about the providers and EC activities in your area. (You’ll get your Sugar login prior to July 1 – exact timing is still TBD – so you’ll have time to get into Sugar and learn how to use it.)
If your council is participating in the CCCAP QI pilot, your staff and coaches supporting the pilot should already have access to Sugar. Contact Sara Raab at ECCLA to add or remove Sugar users related to the CCCAP QI pilot.
ecConnect logins are managed from within Sugar. Staff members at early childhood councils can activate their own ecConnect logins in Sugar. You can also manage and support their providers with their own logins and access to ecConnect.
